Great pair of antique Edwardian drawers make a unique pair of summer culottes. White cotton drawers have horizontal tucks at the edge of the wide legs and pretty broderie anglaise (eyelet) lace. They are high waisted and close on both hips with a back strap and extra tape tie. The back strap buttons with a shell button at centre back. The width can be adjusted with the tape ties which tie at the front beneath the waistline. The ties appear to have been added later as they have buttonholes underneath, so if you prefer you could easily remove the tape and add buttons. The back of the pants is pleated into the waistline and is very full. 1900s-1910s.

Condition
Very good. There are a few light brown spots, mostly on the seat, see photos. A couple of similar marks on the back waistband.
